PORG International School

PORG International school is the only accredited British school in Ostrava. Our well-balanced primary curriculum is based on The English National Curriculum. As part of the PORG family, we offer high-quality education for children aged 3 to 11. We are the first school certified by the Korean Ministry of Education in the Czech Republic.

Mission statement

We believe that creating positive school memories is just as important as building solid foundations for future lives. The educational experience should be stimulating and challenging, but above all, it must be happy and secure in these vital years. We encourage the children to learn and grow in a motivating, international environment to become complex and strong personalities. The learning process at our school becomes a never-ending story, not only while in school but also when meeting new friends and gaining new experiences.

Ethos

Throughout everyday practice and procedures, we respond to children’s needs. The children have access to appropriate curriculum opportunities, including well-being and emotional health, to support the development of the skills needed to stay safe and healthy. Access to cross-curricular activities will provide opportunities to develop self-esteem and self-motivation and to help pupils respect the rights of others.

PORG International school is located in Ostrava-Vítkovice. It is part of the PORG Ostrava campus, which contains four buildings, a large sports field and a modern children’s playground.

The campus includes two libraries, high-standard laboratories with modern equipment, computing labs, a gym, an assembly hall, and Art Gallery. There is also a canteen with its kitchen.
